Taste of St. Croix 2016 Poster Revealed

10334299_10205481096815390_5990295758141844533_nEarlier this week, the annual promotional poster for A Taste of St. Croix promotional poster was released by event organizers.  This year the image portrays Farmer Grantley Samuel (co-owner of GLG Plants & Produce) with a freshly cut watermelon.  The painting was done by Artist Luca Gasperi and the setting location was ARTfarm, LLC on St. Croix.


A Taste of St. Croix is an annual food and wine event hosted at Divi Carina Bay Resort on St. Croix’s east end.  This year it will be held Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 6 to 9 p.m.  The event is the capstone of the St. Croix Food & Wine Experience Week, which is one of the top ten international food and wine events according to Forbes Travel.  The entire week of fundraising benefits the St. Croix Foundation, which seeks to improve the socioeconomic status of the U.S. Virgin Islands.  The event was founded by St. Croix Restaurateurs Katherine Pugliese and Kelly Odom.



St. Croix Food & Wine Experience Week includes:

  • Sunset Barbeque in Frederiksted (Friday, April 8)
  • Cork & Fork Dinners (Friday, April 8)
  • Wine in the Warehouse at Bellows International (Saturday, April 9)
  • Cuisine on the Green at Carambola Golf Club (Sunday, April 10)
  • Gourmet Vintner Dinner (Tuesday, April 12)
  • A Taste of St. Croix at Divi Carina Bay Resort (Thursday, April 14)
